Tasmanian Legends Series.

Replies from. Norm Deane, Des Clark, Jack Lowe, Phillip Fowler. Phillip will do CV but won’t sail.

Following the problems experienced with the results at the State Champs, John Behrens to be asked if he would be able to put his hand up to assist with results at MacIntyre Cup. Jenny to check. A list of responsibilities to be compiled for Mirror Events. IMCAT could also assist with protest hearings if required.

John Sherriff to contact Duncan Kirkley (South Australia) re advise on doing up his Mirrors

National Championships, Canberra – Expressions of Interest from Bruce Maher, Julian Jocelyn, Mark Barrington, Jenny Graney, Quentin Hunt.

No interest in taking on the Mirror Website as yet. Daniel to be contacted re adding the proposed changes to the rules from the International AGM, to the website. Jenny to send Daniel/Greg the MacIntyre Cup NOR, Entry form, Subsription/Registration for the Website.

John Sherriff to send trophy list to Jenny and Grant for perusal

The Mirror Booklet is ready. Andrew took some for Montrose and Grant took a couple for Peter Johnstons.

General Business

MacIntyre Cup. A trophy for first skipper and crew in “Rookie Division” to be added to encourage newer Mirror sailors. The definition of “Rookie” to be at the discretion of the Race Comittee.

Neil Brown has finished the boat he was building for his grandaughter. It’s called “Charmed”

Montrose is now holding its Intermediate Training between 12 and 2pm. The trainees have their own choice of boat for the first two weeks, then Mirrors alternating. Their normal racing starts at 2.30pm.

Kingston is running Mirror Training on Saturday mornings, concentrating on the newer members.

Jenny is trying to make up a current database of Mirror sailors.

Next meeting 7 th November, 7.30pm, at 6 Carinya St.
