National Championships 2008

There being 3 clubs who would like to hold the National Championships in 2008, Jenny to send out a letter asking them to indicate how they would rate themselves against the following Criteria, based on 40 boats:

Boat Park

Security

Clubhouse

Personel to run the event (including protest committee)

Accomodation

Spectator viewing (from land and/or water)

Change rooms

Launch and Recovery

Car Parking

Rescue Boats

Measurement Venue

Social Program (Welcome, after sailing BBQ/s, Prize night.)

It was decided that the committee were all aware of the relative merit of each club's sailing waters.

It is anticipated that whichever club runs the event they will need help from other Mirror clubs/members etc.

Glenorchy Regatta will be the first Sunday in November. Reciprocal Pennent races are anticipated between Kingston and Montrose, with Montrose day being Glenorchy Regatta.

Next meeting to be advised by Secretary.
